Hiking or Trekking is one of our favorite travel genre. The elation of reaching the top of a small hill or a high pass is simply beyond words. Luckily being based in northern India just an hour flight to the mighty Himalayas has brought best hikes in the world in our doorsteps. After completing a few hikes in Indian Himalaya, we have set our target to the Nepal Himalayas, the best place of hiking in the planet.

Deoriatal Tungnath Trek

If you love green meadows, red and pink rhododendrons, white peaks and easy hikes then this is the trek for you. The campsite by alpine lake Detrital is breathtaking. Visit in March April to appreciate the rhododendrons.

Kheerganga Trek

An old time favourite for hippies with well marked trail and campsites/teahouses, Kheerganga is an easy weekend trek. Beautiful jungle and waterfall Enroute makes the trek delightful.

Parashar Lake Trek

A beautiful alpine lake with views of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal. The hike in winter amidst snow makes it a great weekend destination from Delhi.

Nag Tibba Trek

The best weekend trekking destination from Delhi and an all weather favourite. Views extend from Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh to Nandadevi in East Garhwal. Bandarpoonch is strikingly beautiful from top.

Kuari Pass Trek

Kuari Pass is the trek known for great views of Himalaya. Views of Nandadevi and Kamet the highest peaks of Uttarakhand dominates the trek. A must trek for landscape photography.

Chadar Trek

If you can battle -20C and cold winds, then this journey is a spectacle which you will remember for life. Not many winters left before this trek will be a history. Do it fast.

Kareri Lake Trek

A short trek through villages on the slopes of Dhauladhar to Kareri Lake with spectacular views. Kareri Trek does not have any demanding days. Excellent connection by road to all over makes this an easy approach to the trail head.

Sandakphu Phalut Trek

Sandakphu Phalut Trek or Singalila Ridge Trek is one of the best treks that offer breathtaking mountain views. It is the only trek in India where one can see Mt. Everest (Tallest), Kanchenjunga (Third), Lhotse (Fourth) and Makalu (5th) together in a single frame.

Markha Valley Trek

Ladakh’s most famous trek and undoubtedly one of the best in India. Explore this homestay trek and feel the vast expanse of Himalayas.
